Don't know how many of 'my boys' log on to this site, but just wanted to congratulate them on reaching 2 cup finals this season and thank them for their hard work and attitude. Let's hope we can win one of the trophies whilst we are still in with a shout for the league! May not have the youngest side, but we are going well.

Congratulations Jellybelly, doesn't matter how old your side is, I have a few OAP's and the size of their heart makes up for the old legs beginning to wilt, good luck to you in the finals, but not the league !!!

Thanks Spec! League will be tight with 4 or 5 teams still in with a shout, but we will be there or thereabouts. Not bad with a back five with an average age of 39!!!

Morning

Drew 3 - 3 after extra time, but lost 8 - 7 on penalties. Can't fault the boys, we were 3 - 1 down but showed a lot of character, came back to 3 - 2 and looked like winning the game. Got the equaliser, but just could not get the vital fourth goal. had a chance to win it on pens, but it was just not meant to be!
Now on to the league and who have we got on Saturday? Lets hope we play as well as we did the last time we played your lot!

unlucky perkins res's!!!! nice to see you got a write up in the et. we won that same cup about 3-4 years ago at the silver jubilee and didn't even get a mention in the paper!

hard luck it couldn't have been nice on the losing side least of all on penalties. at least your season isn't over so good luck for the rest of the season.
