Chomping at the bit to get the season underway this weekend and it couldn't come tougher than an away tie at Leverington.

Just named my first squad and on paper we look good, but the proof of the pudding is in the tasting.

Good luck to everyone this weekend and be safe.

Yes cheers guys, we were far from at the races and (especially me) looked like too many nights out lately had taken their toll a bit - but Leverington is not an easy place to travel and their A team had some really good players - particularly No.7 in midfield and No. 10 up top. Quality shone through though and a hat-trick from Daryl, a couple from Starkey and one from Michael Sherman saw us through. Roll on Saturday at home to Stilton Res - another stern test.
