Midweek games...

I saw that 2 games were called off for teams falling to raise a side this week, both in Div 4 and all the teams concerned could or still can finish in the top 4....
I heard the top 4 are going up as they'll do 5 leagues of 9 teams or something, strange some teams seem to have given up already!
I'd guess it's some players who play higher level on a Saturday that cant be arsed to make the effort to get there for a midweek div 4 Sunday game??? any thoughts?

Racing 252 I heard were unlucky in their Northants cup final? shame as we had 3 P'boro teams in with a shout of bringing all the silverware back to P'boro..
Good luck to Netherton and EMAP in the remaining finals.

Any thoughts on this weekends games lads?

Angel Inn v Royal Mail should be a tight game - I'll go for 3-4 R Mail
Ebeneezers v EMAP should be a good one too with a few lads up against each other that play same league (some same team) Sat Prem! I'll go for 2 - 5 EMAP.

you'll probably find that quite a few of the key players in the teams you've mentioned were in action for their saturday teams on the same night which i would have thought their priority lies.

good organisation by the leagues as per normal. surely the sensible thing would be to designate one evening to sat(say tuesday) then another for sun(wednesday). these dates would fall right in the middle of the week for each days football and would prevent players having their loyalties tested at the business end of the season.

crap organisation then if both Sat and Sun midweek games are clashing but yeah I'd guess Saturdays would be priority and rightly so!

all it takes is for the 2 leagues to liaise with each other which cant be that hard can it!?
