Hi guys,

As most football fans will be aware, Fifa 09 was released last week and Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 to be released in the next few weeks.

Which if any will you choose?

I'm a Fifa man all the way, have been since me and my bro got Fifa 96 for our megadrive!

Fifa!

No where near as good as Pes.... For graphics, yep u can have it... if u want to just look at the pitch and the players and watch the ball spin and the crowd go wild go ahead...

But if u want to actually play a footballing game with v.v.v. good gameplay, then go Pes all the way boys

And Pes for me is cheaper as well;)

I was all about Pro Evo, until the last FIFA came out; although it is harder to play FIFA after a funny fag, because the menus are all messy and you can't change the controls very easily!

Sorry lads im a Fifa guy, have been since the 1st game came out on the megadrive and get bought the new Fifa every Christmas, but both games are very good.

FIFA all day long oh and while we on footy games I also bought fifa street a couple of years back what a pile of dog poo.

Chaps - got to be FIFA!! I was a PES boy up until i played fifa 08 on xbox 360, i thought my mates were taking the p1ss when they said it was better than PES, how wrong was i!! Pes is still a great game put fifa for me, harbs you should get sneeks to play slim bratts at pes mate, the lad is a legend!!

pro evo ... had fifa 98 tho ... my first ever playstation game lol ... when u shot it would freze and then miraculously it would go over when it was destined for top corner ... RUBBISH!

I will buy PES when it comes out, same as I did wit Fifa. I prefer Fifa at the moment but still a PES boy at heart.

I would also happily take on Slim and Sneeks ;)

Pro Evo without a doubt. Though 2008 on the PS3 was dissappointing the new one looks spot on (downloaded the demo). Me and quite a few of my other sad friends hold tournaments quite regularly.

I'd be more than happy to put one on and prove my worth if some of you boys are interested.

Slim - you na i am an xbox boy , but i would happily come n try n kick your ass ( if the misses lets me out ). Lads we have held these nites regularly over the last couple years at eitha slims place or my other brother's place, they are quality nights, takeway, beer, pro evo n plenty of p1ss taking.

If i am correct slim has won the past 3 tournaments n needs knocking off his perch, what you say sneeks n harbs n co, you boys up for it?

Pro Evo tournement, who would be sad enough to hold one of those :D
Harbour regulary hold one to, ive been invited to around 7, and have won everyone ;)
Just remmebering back to the night where there were 8 of us, play against each other twice... didnt conceed the whole time and only dropped 2 points (draw against Harbour) in which he jumped up and celebrated????

Well hold one soon, knock some of you boys down to reality ;)....

Fivers in.... get about 7 or 8 people and winner takes all :D

Some of us actually have a life!! Im not includig myself in that statement, but Fifa and PES both suck, its all about the Sensible Soccer! :clown:

Got PES 2009 on PS3 anyone who fancies a game online look me up.

Gotta say im dogsh*t at it at the min and a bit dissappointed in the online game, players don't respond quick enough when turning and receiving the ball, still a few glitches in the gameplay and defenders seem to defend like Tottenham.
