I need to put this across but since the credit crunch the night life around pboro is becoming pants, we need the clubs to get cheaper and some more new DJs.

id say longer than 3 years,must admit i dont go town as much but the last few times i have its a case of only 2/3 places being anywere near busy. nowhere near as good as before when hitting the other establishments what have now closed.i also think that the later hours have ruined a nite out aswell,people going out at later hours,at least before you could find the clubs busy at 10.00 till they shut at 2. but do agree that cash is a bjg issue at the minute and the drinks in town are way overpriced.got to love the old 5th av days cheap mondays n thurs,bogofs early on fri/sat to get you in early

Its not that bad lol, it depends who your out with, if you out on your own then of course your going to get bored lol :duel:

old quo days on a friday night pre season of course £10 at the door for as much as you can drink all night. some messy ones in there!

I think what we need in boro is more clubs doing pay a certain amount to get in and free drinks all night i would pay £30 for free drinks all night specially with the credit crunch lol !!!!

No what the city needs is actual clubs!!!

Liquid chicago and envy are just massive bars with loud music that charge silly prices!!

The djs are no good!!! A nightclub is somewhere you go to dance to the music of your choice and enjoy it and not need to worry about the little jumped up Twt who thinks he is better than you due to the amount of gold on his neck and fingers!!
Granted all cities have clubs like this but i much prefered Liquid when it had the VIP and the chill out room as did 5thAve and Quo!!!
Go to any major City look at there main clubs and the dance foor is massive and there is almost certinally a chill out zone in the club!!
Oh and were is the variety!! apart from a few cocktail bars every other place is the same!! a so called pub with some muppet playing over played pop tunes in speakers not designed to take that much base!!

You go to a pub to have a laugh not sit in silence and listen to the dk in the dj box thats what your club that should open at 11-12 when pubs start to close is for!! I miss the old collage arms, the royal,the lion, and cant remember what the old edwards was lol but it had some crazy shoot em up machines which were agreat crack when all the lads were ****ed!!
