It is with great sadness, I advise all, that Peter Waghorn, an absolute pillar of local football, as a player and administrator for over 50 years, passed away at home, yesterday.

What can one say except Peter you wil be sadly missed by all especially myself. Words can not describe the debt local Peterborough football owe to such a great man. My sincere condolences go to Peter's wife, Nicky and his family R.I.P my dear friend. I will not forget you.
