After really struggling to settle anywhere this season I decided in February that I wasnt enjoying football and chose to sit it out for the rest of the season.
After a few weeks of watching a few teams I have realised how much that Saturday feeling can be missed, and how important it is to have a team that is full of lads who are pulling together for the team and play for each other.
I'm amazed also how quickly it takes to lose the sharpness and am now working hard to make sure it is there for the start of preseason.
So two things:
1) Anyone out there who will be looking for players for next season please let me know, as its likely I can bring another one or two good lads with me, and
2) If anyone is thinking about giving up on the game, DON'T - Saturday's are really boring without it, even Jeff Stelling can't fill the void for that long!
