Wouldn't get too worried about Daventry sicknote.

I went to watch Yaxley and Holbeach last night and I could not believe the lack of quality in the game. Neither side made any pretence at trying to play any football, especially Holbeach, but at least they had some shape to their team. Yaxley had the better players, but even I could not work out what system they were trying to play, and they didn't really seem to have one. (3-1-3-2-1?)

Holbeach won 1-0, though poor Tommy Treacher only lasted about 5 minutes when he came on, and might have come back a bit quickly from his broken leg.

Never found it difficult playing against UCL sides, and I would be surprised if Daventry were good enough to beat Perkins on their own patch - will your poorly fingers keep you out of that one?

Have spoke to Tommy Treacher today and he hasn't broke his leg agian jus stressed the fracture, hes goin got see the specalist tomorrow. Must agree Mr. Cooper the game at Yaxley last night was very poor and I would not be surprised if Perkins beat Daventry on Saturday.

Perkins should be good competition for daventry on Sat if we play well. There is not a great deal of difference in terms of teams maybe just in terms of preparation and facilites between p'boro and UCL.

As for tommy, came back to soon!!! Needs to give it full rest and then build it back up slowly as this happens, Wish him well

I know Spec - tacle but it has a safety cable attached in case the cutting of the grass gets a bit too much and the mower takes off ;) it can save us muscle deprived people from loosing a limb in a mower attack!!
