SSPIO Reserves

SSPIO Reserves (along with the first team) will be training every Tuesday 18:30 until 20:30 and every Saturday from 10:30 until 12:00 at Werrington.

Anyone interested in joining our club, PM "Raph" on here, or email me rfrascogna@sspio.net; we welcome anyone to our gruelling training sessions. We have already made some exciting additions, to an already strong squad.

We have an "open squad" policy, so the first team and reserves train, play and socialise together. As a feeder team, anyone joining the reserves is actively encouraged to join our first team if they perform well and impress the backroom staff.

This year both sides will be playing at Werrington Sports Centre, with the schedules due to hopefully allow for the both SSPIO teams to play at home together.

Saturday 25th July - Robbo's Tournament
Saturday 1st August - vs. Deeping Sports Reserves
Saturday 8th August - vs. Hampton Sports Reserves
Saturday 15th August - vs. Whittlesey Reserves
Saturday 29th August - TBC
Saturday 5th September - Season begins!

Had to get it confirmed first and it was confirmed yesterday! Shouldn't be problem with pitches now . . . the small one was too small for us really.

Defo, can't wait. Need a good test pre-season and I think that those fixtures represent that. Ploughman have now confirmed our after-match hospitality too, for both SSPIO teams at home on the same day . . . a short walk from the changing rooms.
