What a load of tripe, if any anything having one team walk it is making a mokery of the standard whatever the level. Because they have decided to call it a day thats their call same was said when royal mail left the players who want to play Sundays will join other teams.
Good luck to the new teams by the way and all for the new season.

Its a bull**** artile and a very arrogant statement. There is plenty of new blood coming into the league and 5+ teams shows there is plenty of appetitie for the game. People come/people go.
If anything it will make the league more competitive, new players/teams, wthout the annual merry go round in the Prem whereone team dominates each season and "a cluster" moves on to another team the next.
Its the prem that needs sprucing up. Many comment how the other leagues are more competitve and enjoyable than playing in the prem. If anything a few move to LW, the rest of the oldies hang their boots up and fresh faces come in should make it a more competitive league.

I agree with that comment... the leagues below the prem are hugely competitive and very enjoyable to compete in.
The prem is a different story though, or at least is has been the last few seasons!
We've had the core of players from the old JNE mopping up with only Netherton and LW able to keep pace, the rest had their season finished by Christmas and some folded as a result - I think we need the prem to consist of 12 or 13 teams which would give most teams something to play for and more games also...
Last season we started with 9 in our league I think and finished with 7 or 8, we had weeks off with no games as a result and lads loose interest - hopefully this shake-up will make it more interesting for all concerned.
Who is in what leagues by the way?
