Other than that 'I Predict a Riot' Sat night.
Benwick Athletic 0 v 7 Sawtry
Doddington United 2 v 2 Stilton United
Farcet United 2 v 5 Guyhirn
Hereward Athletic 1 v 3 Peterborough Rovers
Manea United 3 v 1 Chatteris Fen Tigers
March St Marys 1 v 3 Coates Athletic
Warboys Town FC 2 v 0 Eye Sports and Social
March v Guyhirn. Guyhirn fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to win 7-4 with 4 second half goals. On a personal note I did score my first goal since the first game of the 2004/05 season! Guyhirn are weak defensively I feel, but have a good strike force and there philosophy is to score more than you conceed and it seems to work well...
I thought that about guyhirn when we played them 1st game of the season, def guna be a tough one for us this week, but hopefully i can get a full strength side out.
We may have only beat eye 1-0 this week but i had a bare 11, 3 lads didnt turn up and wasn't contactable by phone, 3 players where playing with heavy injuries, so well done to my lads!! thanks to eye for getting a member of there squad to run the line for us.
Saying that we could and should have scored at least 6, but good defending from eye and poor finishing from us kept it at 1-0.
Like i said you can only play with what you have and beat whats put in front of you.

Some interesting games this week!!
Benwick Athletic 0 v 9 Sawtry
Benwick are improving all the time but i think Sawtry having lost last week to Doddington will be looking to get back to winning ways as early as possible.
Doddington United 3 v 1 Stilton United
In form Doddington host Stilton in a big game that is a mustn't lose fixture for both teams. Both are pretty stubborn defensively but i fancy Doddington are on a high and will gain all 3 points.
Farcet United 1 v 2 Guyhirn
Another interesting fixture sees high flying Guyhirn travel to Farcet. Guyhirn will be looking to continue their promotion push against a Farcet side who have failed to live up to expectations so far this season. With Farcet improving this will be a close encounter but Guyhirn always have a habit of winning these games and i see this as no different.
Hereward Athletic 1 v 3 Peterborough Rovers
The return fixture from last weekends games see's Rovers travel to Hereward follwing a 2-0 success last match. I see the margin being similar this week as Rovers aim to climb back up the league following their recent dip in form.
Manea United 4 v 3 Chatteris Fen Tigers
Manea beat Benwick last week and have already been to Chatteris and claimed a win that is never easy. I reckon they will be slightly too good and will win by the odd goal.
March St Marys v Coates Athletic
This is another tough fixture that could go either way with St Mary's proving to be a tough place to go and win. Two high scoring games in as many weeks suggests defensively they are not as good as they are going forward but it should be a good game.
Warboys Town FC 3 v 2 Eye Sports and Social
Warboys beat Stilton in their last league outing which proves without doubt that they are a strong team. Eye like been mentioned previously have been improving all the time but i believe Warboys will have enough to claim the win.

Benwick Athletic 1 v 7 Sawtry (sawtry will be far too strong for the improving benwick team)
Doddington United 2 v 1 Stilton United ( doddington playing really well, fancy them to just edge this one against a good stilton team)
Farcet United 2 v 4 Guyhirn (guyhirn to win and maitain there promotion push)
Hereward Athletic 1 v 3 Peterborough Rovers
Manea United 3 v 1 Chatteris Fen Tigers (manea will be just to strong for the tigers in a close match)
March St Marys v Coates Athletic :soo: ( March gave us a great match at home, they would have felt unlucky not to have come away with a point, however we have come up with a performance on every occasion this season when needed, i see this being no different)
Warboys Town FC 2 v 0 Eye Sports and Social
SATURDAY NIGHT X-MAS PARTY!!! "I PREDICT A RIOT 2"
Teilo, so you are predicting a loss for yourselves, we are flattered.
We have 4 big games on the trot and we consider you to be one of them. Last weeks result against Fen Tigers was a good result. They will beat some of the top teams at their place. The boys proved that when the going gets tough they can dig in and get a result.
We have had some big tests of character this season and they aint let me or themselves down.
Farcet 2-0 down at half time and against a force 10 gail, game over. Nope, boys played the best game into a gail I have ever seen. Won 3-2.
Wisbech Marys drew 3 -3 but never bottled the game or attempted to harm anyone. Lost on pens and shook the oppositions hands, after all they had taken. I take my hat off too em.
Griffin Pk, many have folded and many will when faced with the intimidation dished out by Griffin Pk worthy 2-0 winners.
Maybe they have the desire this year. Time will tell.
Benwick Ath 0 v 6 Sawtry
Doddington utd 1 v 2 Stilton
Farcet Utd 2 v 1 Guyhirn ( bout time i predicted a win instead of saying :soo: )
Hereward Ath 2 v 2 Peterborough Rovers
Manea Utd 3 v 1 Chatteris Fen Tigers
March St Marys 1 v 2 Coates
Warboys 3 v 0 Eye S & S
I rarely put us down for a win, but its about time i did.
Teilo, so you are predicting a loss for yourselves, we are flattered.
Yes, I think you are favorites to win this one, but I'd like to think we will give you a hard battle. 2 players limped out of our defeat on Sunday, one I think with hamstring and the other with looks like a damaged shoulder. One of them is arguably the best defender and the other one scored 2 goals. Cap that with a midfielder who done his cruciate a few weeks before that is 3 key players missing. I am on the fringes of the first team so not sure if I am with them or the ressies, will find out Weds or Thurs but be sure to say hello if I'm there.

telio, saturday is going to be a close fought matchno different to the match at our place, we have been missing some key players ourselves in recent weeks! most notably our ever present captain and also a key centre foward(for more than a short while). i think the key to getting out of this divison(especially as there are maybe 4 teams capable of finishing in the top2)is having replacements for injured suspended and absent players, i think this is where we have the edge of maybe some of the other top teams in the division. (oi Ginger CAFC be more positive)

Big game players didn't play well.
Very similar game to our first meeting. Tight game up until the last ten minutes then we sneaked a couple and the number 7 finally shut up. This time we didn't manage to put away a couple of chances we had at the end and the number 7 never shut up. :blh:
A tight game, as I suspected. With Doddington still rolling on, yet more raised eyebrows as to who is going to go up.
