top result jim. its a hard time for local footy at the moment. clippo ia doing the best job he can with a well below prem budget. im sure yaxley will retain their prem status and thats all that counts at the moment. good luck for the rest of the season.

I think Clippo is a miracle worker. If only the new building can be built I think there is a chance for the Cuckoos to become one of the better established UCL Prem teams.

its all about money jim, but in these hard times there isnt alot about. things will change in the next few seasons.

100% agree. There have been times I thought the club would be better opting out and trying to get back into the Peterborough League. More people in the village seemed to support them during those days.

I admire the volunteers who keep the club going for not taking that option though and hope they are rewarded with UCL Prem football for many years to come.

95% of ucl sides are in the same boat. all most clubs have to do is to survive until the money returns.

Is it as simple as that though? I would have thought most business men would now think twice before investing in football again... even when the economy recovers.
