chris plumber makes it sound like a bashing. it could have gone either way, beeny did make 2 great saves as he does every week and we also had chances, anyone could have pinched it and a draw was a very fair result, chris you forgot to mention the run around jamie graham gave you.
i expect beeny or any keeper to make saves every game, after all he is 1 of the 11 players on the pitch right?
still have to say that irchester will win it and with eynesbury just below it could see a 3rd place finish for pns.

time for tommy to return i think,it doesnt feel the same taking points from plumber and hilly, he knows how to grind out the required results in a promotion battle, i got the edge with my mid table players by knowing how pns would set their team up, i even named who would be subbed for who.
but whats this i hear? has to be total bull? and fresh out off deeping, korkmas manager next season?

Tut Tut Mr Al - put your rod away please!!!

We SHOULD have won by 2 or 3 on the balance of play and chances Saturday. We DIDN'T - end of - 1 point each - opinions are like noses - we all have one!

0-0 was the same as Irchester & Eynesbury so status quo maintained and we move onto the next game and are now down in 3rd after Eynesbury won tonight.

Squekey bum time as the bloke who got his substitutions wrong tonight always says and my personal favourite part of the season - winning when it matters

Another horrid day for us yesterday. Lost a close game 2-1 at leaders Irchester and even worse lost keeper Richard Roberts in the 13th minute with a double break of his leg - he is having an operation today to put a rod into the leg.

Only good news was that Eynesbury Rovers, who look like coming 2nd can't get promoted so we just need to finish 3rd.

Makes Tuesday nights return with the Bash Street Kids another massive day for us and hope we can overcome whatever tactical masterpiece Mr Lenihan has in store for us. I agree we are a bit predicatable with our 4-3-3 and I wish I could say we will be up for it big time, but our players are not really like that - just need 3 points - PLEASE!!!!!

its just a shame im a one trick pony and can only tactically master the pns game plan haha. not good news about richie always sad when these type of things happen in football, its a shame for me if thats true about eynesbury, as i always look forward to our battles every season. heard bainesy did a good job between the sticks. see you tuesday night, our form at the moment isnt as bad as it seems, last 8 league games, 3 win 4 draws and 1 loss.

p.s HANDS OFF BEENY!! (a message for next season lol)

I intend standing behind your goal on Tuesday night and throwing Mars bars onto the pitch as we attack to see if that puts Beeny off.

Bainsey did very well saving a penalty and a free kick brilliantly but him and Eddie got in a bit of a pickle for the 2nd goal

Hope we get a few down at Chestnut Avenue on Tuesday though up against Barcelona v Arsenal (Barcelona will win 2-0 anyone thinking of staying in to watch that instead)

Also enjoy the battles but really don't want to spend another blooming season in division 1 unless we have too.

beeny has been in top form for the last few seasons, pns must have been crazy to let him go for the big pole, beeny is by miles a far better keeper. mars bars wont tempt him tommy, best try a tommy loads-of-money tactic. better still i'll sell him to you, wink wink, dont matter who you have in goal tuesday as i'm sure jamie and our other borrowed top quality secret forward will keep your defence on their toes. so whats it to be? start a 4-4-2 again with ali or gedge on the wing? or the good old plumber 4-3-3 lol. what ever it is we will be ready to do battle.

Mr Beeny was a lad that I took out of Oundle Reserves and brought him into Ortonians Al where he proved himself an invaluable asset as we acquired trophies. I am sure he has also enjoyed playing for you these past few years and I agree is one of the best.

You will know of course that you are incapable of suprising us with your team selection for Tuesday which could be anything with the game being in Peterborough - I certainly did not think you would take the gamble of going with the same team that stole a point from us last week!

wont be adding anyone else from pboro, team may pick its self due to a few injuries, deffo be a different side that took 2 points from you a week ago, as every week we have a min of 2-3 changes, whatever happens, lets hope it brings in the crowds as our battles seem to do that to give my side and yours a lift.

Yep bring it on - both would luv to stuff the other (even though I am just a face in the stand looking important!)

I will admit to always being concerned ahead of games with you now, which I imagine fills you with pleasure regardless of the result!

I wanted to watch this one, but didn't make it down. Sounds like a comfortable win for PNS, with Ian Edge and Karl Gibbs netting for the home side?

not that comfy raph, but for the rub of the green we could have pinched a draw, felt huntingdon put in a decent performance, both sides played far better then the 0-0 drew last saturday, pns maybe just edged it lol, didnt think to much of their keeper, and the ex football league ref? what a joker he was. im a touch disapointed, but pleased for pns also, my ucl record against pns reads: 2 wins , 2 lost and a draw,
my ucl head to head with tommy 2 wins 1 loss lol, get your big coat out tommy dont feel the same. good luck to the local pboro boys at pns, over the past few seasons you deserve prem footy.

Thanks Al - (Peterborough League head-to-head 6 games, 5 wins, 1 defeat) - (Overall record 6 wins, 3 defeats!!! lol)

We were worthy winners having dominated the first hour, but Huntingdon came on strong and would have got interesting if they had got a 2nd goal

Ref was outstanding - including his spot on time-keeping - who needs injury time anyway!

No-one at club had ever heard of keeper of seen him play, but we were struggling big time and just grateful to have someone help us out. Big Pole back next week.

pdfl games were just training days tommy haha. im on about as a ucl manager. woops i forgot, your not one lol.
the correct ruling on jamie's 1st goal would have made it a closer game . ref was weak and blew up early due to no 4th offical ha.

Sounds like a good match. Will there be a rematch next season though? Who played in goal for PNS?

dont know who the keeper was. lucky for pns plumber and co at the back had a decent game. be good to get pns in a cup, as pre season games are never a true test. looks like all players/ management at eynesbury have been mis lead and 3rd will be good enough, but im positive pns will bag 2nd. in fact i would bet on it.
