lost our 1st game 1 - 0 to deeping rangers. positive stuff from us, had 7 missing (hols/work/injury) 4 who would have been starting players. give me a chance to try out some new faces, had ian wytch slot into the cen of mid, he had a very decent game.
LOOKING FOR A MATCH DAY BAGMAN/COACH, pm me if anyone is interested.

Think I'll pop down to watch a bit of this one, after my 7-a-side.

thought we played well tonight, gave a good account of ourselves, only have two games to go and feel we are nearly there, had josh crick, scott beeny, adam lacey, stuart eason and chris brown missing. looks like i've got a headache on my hands, all 16 lads i took to pns played well.

score ended 2 - 2, we twice went in front (graham, bellamy), pns equalised via the penalty spot.

yaxley this saturday 3pm ko at jubilee park, huntingdon.

Agree Al - whilst we got on top last 20 minutes as your boys tired, a win for us would have been a travesty and a draw was a fair result. Jamie was different gravy as usual and if he plays the majority of your games I think you are going to do well this year. For us after another game of experimenting on Saturday against Letchworth we will be starting to bed down a starting 11 next week against Wisbech & Swaffham. We missed Lee Blewett & Tom Moran a bit and are still trying to agree a fee with Blackstones for Avelino Vierra, but we have plenty of quality so have no need to be too downbeat about 1 indifferent performance.

Bebé (Avelino) will be a great signing for you Tommy; he should be playing professionally, if it weren't for the language barrier & being played out of position at trials.

I thought it was a good game, a frenetic pace and many players trying to impress. 2-2 was a fair result.

just wanted to point out that i thought gareth jellyman looked average. but what was he doing cen def? i know he isnt signing for you, but he didnt shine at all at our level. fitness was not the difference in the last 20, josh moreman and dan clements were. both are far better then any other pns player currently at your club, im sure both are able to make it at a much higher level. when i heard that josh was having a riddle and over heard the gaffa slating him, well thats just crazy. even more so if they are both regular subs next season. good luck to all at pns next season.

Was that Gareth Jelleyman at the back? He's had a haircut and I'd agree with Al, he didn't look like a former pro. The two young, short lads that came on for PNS (11 & 7?) looked very quick and handy though.

i think playing 2 games 44 hrs apart was a big mistake,we lost today 3-2 v yaxley who looked alot fresher then us by far. jamie graham got both in the 2nd half, we were 3 nil down before we got the 2 back, the scoreline flattered us, we were dreadful. alot of the lads were still stiff from thursday nights entertaining game.i just hope this was the only reason we were poor.

according to the ET jellyman is holding talks about signing for PNS. if he does he will have finally found his level. shocking player at posh and for any other club i've seen him play for!
