Well done PSL and chuffed for you Mr Flynn.
Al - big respect to you and a reward this season for your loyalty, and winning the league a far better achievement than the Northants Cup given how far you were behind - a point next week and you will have the highest points total since the Eye days as well.
You certainly will have something to live up to there next season Gino (???) !!!
No doubt Moulton will be back again next year for another pop - was this their best or last chance? - we seem to say that every year, but expect them to dust themselves down and come back just as strong
Also happy for the likes of Colin, Terry & Brian who have been involved with the club since the days of laced footballs and JW who supported the club when it could have gone to the wall through Barings
Congratulation to all at PSL, over the season's course you have been the best side in the league and I am pleased that you have won it. A Northants Cup and Premier Division title speaks volumes for the side and you deserve your glory.
Special thanks go to Al, Joe and a number of other PSL players for coming over to the club house in Whittlesey last night and having a few beers.
Whittlesey deserved their 3 points yesterday against Moulton in a game that was about physical battles just as much as free-flowing football. Personally delighted to see two of my reserve players contributing to the win, Micky Burch setting up the first and Matty Heron powering in a great header for the winner.
Good to see our first team finishing the season strongly, number of plans in the summer to ensure that we are in the title hunt come this time next season.

i ve only just got up due to the party last night.
barrel did you get any of the pizza the boys were singing about??
i was well impressed with the spirit you whittlesey lads showed in the club house after your game v moulton, we only lost 2 games this season in the league and 1 was to you boys so hats off for that, after speaking to mick i can see that you boys will be a force next season.
lets hope that PSL meet you again next season on your off day.
the boys played their hearts out at leverington and fair play to lev they were not going to roll over and die even though there seems to be no love lost for moulton.
loved how you dealt with jamie graham Alan
this title is for you sportssec, make a speedy recovery and i will see you in the week.
I did get the Pizza last night, after an all day drinking sesh i needed something to settle my stomach before i returned home to the missus. I get the song from the boys every game Al, they love me really
Nice to hear your compliments around the spirit within the club, one thing that us lot from Whittlesey have always been renowned for.
Once again Congratulations on winning the double, now get out and have a few more
All the best Al!
Well done to Tom Flynn, Carefree & p'boro sports on winning the league, fair play to you & as I said before the team who wins it over 9 months will deserve it.

Thankyou to everyone for their congratulations.May i also offer my commiserations to Paul Kent and Moulton who pushed us all the way right to the end. They are tough buggers who keep going all the way and i know all the hard work all the staff at Moulton have done. They still have the PFA Cup final to play for.And a massive thankyou to all the staff at Sports who have worked tirelessly this season to achieve this goal. Also people and friends who have given me advice this season thankyou so much for being there.1 game to go at Uppingham and we are going to have some fun at that one, the lads deserve it and yes,Al will play.Somebody asked me yesterday,"are you going to change your name to Tommy Trophy", i replied,"theres only one Tommy Trophy", i will be just Tommy Flynn.

Guess Gino can't call himself Mr Perkins anymore - and surely MR PSL is either yourself or Mr Flynn- hard act to follow Gino, best of luck though
Al, really appreciated you and some of your lads taking time out to pop in for a beer - congratulations to Tommy and yourself, tremendous achievement and a perfect way for Tommy to sign off .
our boys really did play well Saturday, glad we were able to play a very small part in your success - lets hope you can repay the favour some day.

we played a part in your 2005 season mick when we let you boys off with a draw towards the end of the season, only kidding i did think we where the better side on the day but you need a touch of luck to become champions and we got plenty this season.
it was a great feeling sitting in your club house knowing that after 7 long years of hard work i finally got it right! just hope that my lads don't start up a song about me eh? but i must say it showed there is alot of team spirit at whittlesey and i will need some of the same to retain the crown next season, as i have decided to stay at PSL along with Pat O'keeffe and a shopping centre (hopefully).

Glad to hear it Al - catch you next season if not before - :nwy:
Why do people think i`ve gone, Mr Perkins is still here
Whatever you decide to do big man I wish you every success. I enjoyed my time at Perkins with you, if you have a fault it's probally that you can be too nice. Well done to Al and my old mate Tommy, all we need now Tommy is for our team to make and then win the play-offs, that would really make your season. All the best to all the staff and players at P.S.L., a well earned and deserved double. Al just you be careful, Tommy make sure you've got full St. John's Ambulance cover for that last game.
