Come on enough is enough we have been quite long enough! teams must be starting to start training soon if not already or very soon so will any team spill the beans on whether they have new players or not? or will any rivals say where any player has gone if they know about it?

You don't want to worry about these signings you've made Tommy you ought to follow Coates lead and get them out training already !!!!!!! Have heard you could potentially have one of the best set of back room staff around !!!!!!!!

How much does it cost to buy the Div 1 title these days tommy ??? Word has it that you are well into four figures already with signing on fees.

Hope you have deep pockets but make sure you have enough left for this Saturday - looking forward to seeing you in your Fat Controllers outfit - might be the last time for a while you can afford a day out !!

Don't believe everything you are told Bainer - you know what my modest budget is, and I could not afford to blow it like that.

Amazed at some of the stories floating around about players I have not even spoken to!

As you can imagine I look a right plonker in my get up for Ascot Saturday, but looking forward to meeting the Queen.

Sorry Tommy, I stand corrected - I now realise that the attraction has nothing to do with money, it's obviously the respect that they have in your management abilities. Mind you, I think you could be struggling to sign the Queen for next season - as i understand it, she has a few other prior engagements on Saturdays - however, never under estimate the power of a few pound notes, so might be worth a try.

Off to Ascot now for the rest of the week - see you Saturday - and please, no more silly phone calls.

apart from hilly and baines it would seem that you have signed most of your players from the pboro league Tommy, thought you were aiming for higher players?

their are a few other pboro prem players i would like you to sign also Tommy just to make it a bit easier for us to retain the title

As I always supported Ortonians players going onto play higher, then it is only natural that a number of potential players are former guys I have managed - as Jon Patten has played for Yaxley for 3 seasons I am not sure I would call him a Peterborough League player now for example.

Don't remember managing Gary Roddis, Ashley Favell or Phil Anderson before but then my mind is going a bit.

Might have 1 or 2 other Peterborough League players to help you out Al, but then as I have said before I was told at a very early age - when you are climbing a ladder it is better to look up than down - expect more players to sign from higher teams!

just read my last massase tommy by 'your' i didnt mean ex-ortonian players , just that you got 'YOUR' a bulk of your new players from the pboro league, maybe i could do with going to night school as maybe my grammer 'aint rite me thinks'

don't suppose it'll do me any good as i weren't much of a student anyhow and i was the top skiver at school and never missed an episode of Mr Ben

Yep. might be a few more yet with the old school tie winging their way to Chestnut Avenue

Glad I didn't bother with any PSL players though Al as I wouldn't have a side until Xmas - still just another challenge for you to overcome!

we are a bigger side then the few players who are suspended tommy, only had them half the season last time round anyway.

we shall be stronger next season with some top signings all over the park
