what with the 25% increase on all fees to join the league and fines too, could the clubs follow with increased subs each week????

In fairness to the league Al that was explained very well by the Treasurer. The fees have not altered for some time a fact the FA have commented on on more than one occasion.

The league have to provide the FA with a development plan, which is very well written by the league on the club's behalf. In turn this helps secure the grant that the league subsequently gets. Balance sheet indicates £4000 for 2007. This figure could fairly easily be reduced if the FA felt fit.

One reason this could be reduced would be if the league did not help itself regarding entry fees etc. Also it is worth noting that the fines figure is in excess of £8k which is equal to almost £200 per club therefore if the clubs were to ensure that their administration was spot on then the avoidance of just one fine would be equal to the increase in membership fees.

Got me sums wrong if you count it as clubs i.e 43 then it is about £200, if teams then £100.
