I know that this forum is currently for people to primarily come on and moan about ref's - yet there is hardly any banter about games?

Cunning move by Kings Cliffe to go out of the Cup to enhance their League prospects yesterday and Coates fine start to the season continues and Pinchbeck moving through the gears.

Division 1 looks like being tasty as well, with Langtoft overcoming Blue Star yesterday who will both no doubt be up there, but the same - no comments or even questions about "Gingergate!"

As for PSL - well 2 good weeks after a stuttering start and as the song went after the England 5-1 win in Germany a few years ago "5-1 even Foggy scored!"

Well Tommy, pleased you mentioned something fresh although it seems to have been hijacked already.

8 games and undefeated is unbelievable. Pre season was awful and we are yet to play a decent 90 mins. You were at Netherton ! Most people must have thought that was game over. I think as usual we will cause a few up sets and have an influence over who wins the league.

The only positive from Saturday that I have is that last season we would have lost the game with such a lack lustre performance.

Stilton for us Saturday they beat us comfortably pre season.

Rolled back the years in midfield and even got a few bites fromthe drove players! Will not mention the ref although heard the most bizarre thing ever when both teams told him the ball was soft he replied it was the material!? Funny I thought it had something to do with the air inside???

Good performance and result with a few players out of position etc... Love the cup and another good cup run would be welcome, home draw would be nice!

Its ok Gino,Pinchbeck in the quarters and Moulton in the semis and you should win it.

Some say you have to beat the best to be the best. Certainly Gino after your excellent win in the first round you can count yourselves unlucky to be rewarded, if that the right word with this draw. However the winners should fancy themselves to go all the way.

As stated by Gino himself,"we laid a marker down" after there victory against Cliffe.They have no-one to fear and i would expect them to go all the way in this competition no matter who they get drawn against.

You wouldnt want easy games to the final then get turned over in the final.
Mind you i may change my mind after this weekend!

Given that all of the big sides appear to have avoided each other, then I suspect everyone is going to have to win the competition the hard way from the QF onwards. Would rather have avoided 1 of the 3 favourites but there you go. League always the priority obviously, but will be nice to see how close we can get get to Eye on 2 of the next 3 Saturday's.

who you trying to kid tommy? with the recent influx of good ucl standard players that you have convinced to come to psl, you are now right up there with pinchbeck and better then the rest of the best in the division, saturday will be the toughest game eye sports have ever faced and psl will be the favourites to progress.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil (Tommy Cooper)

Problem is AL/Gino we can not get the other 5/6 players to go with them otherwise we would be looking to challenge! ha ha

Looking forward to Sat although I am out for another 4 weeks with a broken wrist that I sustained at Parsons Drove and so can not play. Should be a good game though!

Don't remember you going down or being treated in that game Foggy - wrist injury with wife having just dropped another kid - hmm??

I might take my boots Saturday just in case.

I see you changed "Dear Father" to "Our Father" Gino though it would be a toss up (sorry Foggy) between who might be of more use to you - God or Tony!

Do you have cans at your club or draft?

Think I would be winning "Most drinks consumed by a visiting Chairman" everywhere I have been so far... I know it is nothing to be proud of and I shall be 50 next year and it's about time I grew up and took up gardening or something.......

Foggy you are soft as shi! mate..... broken wrist and out for 4 weeks!! when i broke my wrist while celebrating winning a cup final win, i got a removable cast put on which ment i was able to play ..... typical soft English man!!! I played in a cup final 2 weeks after also meaning i had the joys of jumping around again still with the cast on!! 4 weeks out of playing because of a broken wrist!!! hahahaha!

Me, but will be raring to go again next weekend I reckon - well perhaps 'eased' back in haha

Never actually had an achilles injury before, nasty things as it just ached for days and only just now able to walk without limping like an ejit.

Whether Foggy plays or not i feel Sports will be a very hard team to beat the whole season.
