i won't be taking players from pboro prem except my own, well not without 1st putting 7 days in (i know its not needed) but will do this out of respect to the league and its managers if needed.
have many ucl clubs targeted for our raids.

Thanks Mr Judge, will apply!! :)
Hope you had a good one also and not lost to much at the Races on Boxing Day!
Al, except my own?! Don't you mean most of PSL team from last year and whats the difference between them and rest of p'boro prem - still the prem??? Question is, will they travel that far? As I said though, good luck.
The very best of luck Al. Peterborough Footballs loss is the UCL gain.

no foggy i don't, im not replacing the whole eynesbury's team just in the areas where needed.
i had a meeting before i left PSL and things were done right, i didn't just up and leave.
as the current PSL team are mostly my players and not that of any other prem manager, it was always going to be me taking some.
don't try and hint that i'm the same as other's i WILL show total respect to my fellow managers no matter what level they manage at. please let's not go over old ground again eh? :str:
this is something that mick in whittlesey is trying to achive and one that i fully support. some gentlemanly rules are un writen.
my 1st game is away to 3rd place northampton on chenecks this saturday. i look forward to the challange.
Not hinting at anything al, just asking the questions which other may be thinking and you have answered very clearly!!:)
Tough start and not a nice place to go! Any names of players yet as heard a few banded about that you are after? (inc yours truly, even though I have never played for you) :soo:
Congratulations Jimmy and Merry Christmas if you are the JB who text me when I was p!ssed on Christmas Eve! :)

eynesbury are a good club and good lads over there on the committee
top half finish now would be a great start
Just heard Foggy that B&Q have got some great begging bowls for sale !!! By some of your messages I reckon you'll be needing one !
Big shay!! Just saying as it is - If you answered your phone you would know!! :nono:
Am enjoying it at PNS as you know (although not yesterday after that result and performance) Just asking Al about the rumour mill that he is at the front of!!

Good luck to Al and my bro in their new positions, just dont take to many more of the reserves to the first team, i know a few went last Sat and did well.
We have just started getting it together over the last few weeks and are doing well in the cup (probably why Jimmy has been given the opportunity), but dont want to start getting cained every week.
Braggy your xmas is over start finding some more players for us!!!!
Thanks to everyone for there good luck wishes!!! Raph na mate it wasnt me who sent you a txt i havent got your number.
Slim - dont plan on taking too many of the reserves players, shane, scatters, jo n davey all did very well last saturday and there are 1 or 2 more i want to have a look at as well, but dont want to rob the reserves of too many!!! As long as PSL can stay competitive for the rest of this season and finish fairly respectably in the league i will be happy. Then we will look to next season to try n put PSL back where they belong near trhe top of the prem, whether that be with me running them or some else, but i plan on staying for as long as PSL want me......
good luck to you jimmy i know you can handle this post you have great energy for the job and me and al have enjoyed working with you. Give you a tip dont pick yourself to play ha ha

Not sure if players can approach other clubs without a 7-day approach Foggy???, though your begging tactics are not something I have come across before.
Looking forward to seeing you in action in the UCL this Saturday for us, and I thank you for stooping down to our level - you certainly talk a good game on the side!
If you like I will give Al a report as to whether you are up to it or not - I am sure we can come to some arrangement over a fee (we will pay him whatever it takes!).
Thank you Mr Cooper for your kind words of encouragement!! Am not begging anyone just commenting.
Am looking forward to tomorrow and helping you out as you have kindly asked me to drop down and help from the reserves :whs: Surely I can not do any worse than boxing day and after giving up my time for you on that day I see it has been most appreciated!
As for Eynesbury, read in the ET that Jamie, Brett and Ben have all gone with Al and good additions!!

We have got your travel sickness pills ready Foggy as you get a bit dizzy when too far away from your beloved Bretton.
No Torch, John Patten or the Gibbs Brothers for us tomorrow, so will be a tough one, but is where the squad comes into play.
Is this where I get convinced that a Sweeper is the way forward?
Gotta love Bretton:heart:
Sweeper is always the way forward you are just misguided at present, we have a good squad and should bounce back tomorrow. Fancy a Tommy round for a win and a clean sheet?:soo:

Best Wishes for the future Al - you have done Peterborough Sports proud over the last few years & have conducted yourself properly over the past couple of weeks.
I am sure that you will be successful.
Look forward to working with Jimmy & hope to emulate the previous year's successes.
After receiving an approach from Peterborough Sports and on the back of a chat with Jimmy Bratten I have decided to join Sports in the role of Joint Manager. I would like to thank everyone at Alconbury Football Club in particular my friends and colleagues on the committee for giving me the opportunity to play such a number of active roles at their club this year. Alconbury is a fantastic football club and a credit to the Peterborough League but as with many players and managers we all aspire to be involved in the game at the highest level possible and Sports have presented Jimmy and now myself with what we feel is an exciting new challenge, we are both young hungry managers and together we intend on going someway to continuing the outstanding work of Al Lenihan, Pat O'Keefe and Tommy Flynn albeit less many of last seasons stars. We are not kidding ourselves and we know the size of the task ahead of us now, we are both up for it and we shall certainly ensure the players who pull the Sports shirt on will do so with pride.
Look forward to working with you Jimmy and Brian.

Been away for a bit but is young Thackham still at Alconbury, if so then expect to see him at PSL very soon!!:str:

Shaun sure some players will go to PSL, but whoever becomes the new manager of Alconbury will bring some replacements. That is the merry go roundabout of lower level football.
Firstly i want to welcome Lee to the management team at PSL, i am sure his arrival can only be positive for both myself and the club.
Secondly, it would seem some people think we intend to take a large % of the lads to PSL from alconbury, that is not the case!! We are only looking to strengthen the team in areas we feel necessary ( and 1 or 2 of our reserves have already proven they good enough for the prem ). It always happens when managers leave clubs that some players will follow... so yes there may be 1 or 2 coming from alconbury.
We are over half way through the season and not all players will jump ship, especailly if the club they are at are doing well, my intention is to ensure psl remain in the prem this season, progress as far as we can in the PFA Cup and build for next season. It will be the end of this season that our chasing of players will start and i can assure you when it does it will be done in the correct manor.
Thanks for that Jimmy. On player signing matter Alconbury won't be affected playerwise I know only to well how we suffered pre-season, I worked hard with Barry (and Roger) to bring top quality players in for them and also to the reserves they know that. There may have been an initial panic that I may be going back and raiding the first team - Not the case. Mahoney, Smithy and Thackham have played for me over the last couple of weeks they are the lads joining.
So the first team at Alconbury which has come on heaps and bounds over the past few weeks can continue to do so unaffected. I know in particular how my good mates Deano, Shak and Ash enjoyed their weekend victory over Hampton. What was it deano? :flip: lol

a very good win for jimmy and lee today, well done lads.
Thanks Al, the lads played excellent today and thoroughly deserved there win.
The most pleasing thing was how we got stuck in. The lads were prepared to graft for one another from start to finish and grinding out results is something we are going to have to do over the coming weeks to push us up that table.
Quality I love it when Deeping lose well done boys
