If it wasn't bad enough being dumped out of the FA Cup by stuggling Reading on Wednesday night, Liverpool have been rocked further by the news that star-striker Torres is out of action until the end of February.
The Spanish International injured his knee during the loss to The Royals and now faces an operation on his right knee.
To make matters worse, Torres is joined on the injury list by Club Captain Gerrard (two weeks - hamstring) and winger Yossi Benayoun (one month - fractured rib).
