Posh Manager Merry-Go-Round

Peterborough United have terminated the contract of manager Cooper and appointed Jim Gannon as their new gaffer.

Gannon is most famous for his spell at Stockport County, when he led them to promotion from League Two in 2008; but was dismissed by Motherwell in December.

His first match as Posh chief will be the game with Queens Park Rangers at London Road on Saturday.
