Donna and Jean have kindly provided us with an update on Mick's tribute fund, so here's the total to date:-
Funeral collection £1,540 Donated to Addenbrookes - Dr Jena's research
1st Match £200 Donated to Addenbrookes - Dr Jena's research
2nd Match £1,138 Donated to Addenbrookes - Dr Jena's research
3rd Match £1,135 Donated to Mick Belson's Tribute Fund with Brain Tumour UK
Donna & Olly's Wedding donations - £595.00 Donated to Mick Belson's Tribute Fund
Gift Aid £387.50 will be added to Mick's fund at the end of the tax year.
Total raised in Mick's memory £4,995.50
Donna has worked in fundraising for a very long time and can honestly say that she cannot remember so much money being raised in memory in such a short time. Mick would be very proud at what has been achieved; he continues to help so many others even though he's no longer with us.
Well done and both Jean and Donna would like us to pass on all our appreciation to everyone involved.
Let's hope that next year's tournament is even bigger, better and raises more money for a very worthy cause.
