Balen V Halcyon

Heard this game was called off 5 mins from the end with Halcyon one nil up. Our manager who was there said that a racist comment was made by a member of Balen towards a Halcyon player and a scuffle started. This is not the first time this season that Balen have had a game abandoned when they weren't in a winning position. From what i can gather the result will stand which means Balen are a point behind Web Marketing with one game left. Well done Halcyon lads and thanks for doing us a favour by taking points off them (Hopefully)

When we played against Balen i must say they were a very aggressive side when losing, they were trying to fight all the time and the tackles at times were leg breakers!!
But i doubt anything will be done unless the ref puts it in his report.

We drew 2-2 with them both times this season and conceeded goals right at the end after being 2-1 ahead for most of the two games. They weren't very sporting at all and rolled around screaming after any tackle and repeatedly asked for our players to be booked.

Play for Real Whittlesey, we played them in the cup and were 3-0 up had the exact same problem you did they kept rolling around asking forplayers to be booked and even more frustrating was the ref was scared off them he continually gave them freekicks and gave us nothing.!! They had a large group of followers and they were on the side screaming abuse at us and the ref. Wedrew 3-3in the end and to be fair they did have a few very good players.
But i cant moan now as we beat AK 11 2-1 in the semi of that cup yest so we in the final now lol

I reckon they had about 20 - 30 fans with them when we played them who were shouting abuse too. The second time we played them our manager had to ref as the league couldn't provide one, they agreed to him reffing before the game but didn't stop complaining during the game despite him being an honest bloke who was completely impartial. I was embarrassed for them to see how they were in such agony from tackles that wouldn't be out of place in kids football. Didn't think they had any particularly decent players but they do run a hell of a lot and all seem to be quick. They had a decent goalie at the start of the season but he stopped playing for them after a couple of games. It looks likely Balen will be getting promoted this season unless they are docked points for what happened sunday so look forward to playing them next season!

Well done on beating AK11, we played them twice in cups ands drew 3-3 and lost 4-1 to them. Definitely the best team we've played this season by a long way.

Yeah they def run alot lol anytime the ball got over the halfway line it was like the alamo!!!!
but they could have lost a few players, they had this lad on the left wing who was fkin quick and some skill with it and he was sooooo aggressive lol and a left backwholoved a tackle and to be fair was prob the only player in the whole team that was a genuine guy and was embarressed but what was going on.

Ak defo the best side we played thios year to and i no they were hurting losing yest which makes our other semi final evenmore interesting next month!!

I was a bit disapointed with our performances in the cups this year. Lost to Cherry Tree 5-4 in extra time despite being ahead most of the game. AK11 went through on goal difference in palazzo so despite winning two and drawing with AK we didn't progress. I noticed you guys have only played 6 in the league so far this season, guess you've got a busy few weeks coming up! We play our last game this sunday against Halcyon who are very hit and miss. We beat them 9-2 earlier in the sesaon but they've picked up good results recently drawing with cock inn and beating balen so it's going to be a tough game.

Yeah we have had a very good season 4 cups we entered and qf in 1 sf in 2 so far and final of 1 but like i said sf still to go!!

we can also still win the league, the Halycon are hit and miss with players. They have 3 UCL player that play for them if they are there. 1 for Blackstones and 2 for Eyensbury. So if they play then it makes them much better side. We played them in Plazzo cup with them playing and beat them 2-1.

Cheers, i guess a lot depends on what happens to Balen. The table hasn't been updated for their match yesterday yet but if halcyon get given the win then we are a point clear with equal games played. Hopefully the UCL players are busy this weekend! It'll be good for it to be in our own hands after a couple of dodgy results for us recently.

Just to update for anyone interested. The result stands at 1-0 to Halcyon but Balen have the right to appeal against the decision if they wish.
