Think that Kings Cliffe need to look at taking Werrington, Campbell Drive or Woodlands for a month or two, because our pitch looks unplayable. We can't afford to miss any more matches. PSL have played double the amount of games than us.

Talking of Werrington, well done to them on their first win!

being a div 1 side you can play where ever you want if your pitch is unplayable, but its something that will need to be sorted if you plan to climb the leagues.

We have brand new pitches, pavilion, etc. worthy of a UCL side next season, but they are not ready until August, we just need to finish this one though!

Just spoke to the manager and it was on the main picth at the school mate. He said the pitch was perfect but the goalmouths were a bity messy!

And they are due to be home again on sunday against Fletton!

Pitch unplayable on a sat but perfect on a sunday!!! hmmmm!! You should of got your pitch inspectors down to have a look!!! But to be fair i wouldn't want to play Manea on a wet pitch, their webbed feet give them a great advantage!!!
Good to see Werrington get a result but wants happened to PSL?!!
Great results for Eye and Netherton too!

Afraid not Jim! the pitch had plenty of grass on it and was perfect according to our manager.

have checked next sunday afternoon fixtures and Nen's are at home again.

So why was your game called off? and who called it off?

The school call the shots on whether or not it can be played on, also a local ref was called down to give his opinion and he agreed with the caretaker that the game was to be called off...not a happy chappy at moment. 1 of our players who lives in the village also went and looked at the pitch n he said it was in perfect condition so did mark tilley who was up there coacjing the kids on the school field. No excuses from us as we had a full strength team out n was ready to go, but like i say it down to the school.........

I went n watched most of the eye v powerleague game, powerleague looked like they were still in the game at end of 1st half even tho eye had most possesion n more chances. I na powerleague were missing a fair few players. But seeing eye play they will take some beating to stop them this season.

Your situation is quite facinating mate!
Your game is off but a Sunday game goes ahead and your club ambition is to gain promotion?? :-/
    whats going on there.

Mind you i had a premenition that Manea were going to take a point off you this weekend so you were better off not playing
hope you like my thru ball to mr Ayres to set up his finish !!!

Our new pitches are not ready until next season, until then we are at the mercy of the school; our temporary home.
