Rival Cup Final.

Yesterday Real Whittlesey booked there place in the North Cambs cup final (a sun morn cup i might add) by knocking out the current holders Wisbech St Marys on pens 3-1 after the game finished 2-2. Wisbech missing 3 of their 4 pens and Whittlesey converting 3 of 3.
But that is not the headline as the other semi final was contested between the Crown and Coates with Coates coming out on top.

So the big news is that on Sunday the 11th April (pitch unkown as yet) Real Whittlesey of the Sun afternoon league will be locking horns with Sun prem side Coates Athletic. Im sure being such a local derby this game is sure to have some serious added spice to it.

I think Real have done very well to get this far but Coates will be a bridge too far in my opinion.

Also congratulations to Coopers for reaching there 2nd cup final on sunday & maintianing there winning streak to 13 wins in a row. bring on Fletton sunday see if we can make it the hat trick of finals!!!

I only signed at the start of the year ... sunday morning commitments mean i haven't played for months! I don't see myself as a Real player, and i doubt the manager does either lol.

Probably right on the playing comment me little Ninge - think you only missed 20 or so chances the last time you played for them! Mind you watching yesterdays game you would have DEFINATELY fitted in - and only the "dodgy" linesman prevented them from winning

dont forget to mention last game he played was against Netherton and we lost 3-0 Mick, couldnt score that day either! funny actually since Luke last played we havent lost a game!!!
