Wasnt the best game Al, you should have battered them though, just couldnt find the net. 3 points is what you needed and got so not to bad. Referee was appauling, i have been to 2 UCL games now and the standard of the ref i thought was very poor.

Did you have a few out?

i did try out a few new things bezza, it was a ko cup game not league,from friday nights potton utd line up, i made 1 change at the back, made 4 changes in mid field and 1 up front, started a few youngsters and left out our main striker, our young striking replacement got a touch nervous and should have got a goal or 2 that draney would have finished, we were poor 2nd half, but defence was solid, i cant remember buckingham having a shot on target all night. almost played the last 15 mins with 10 men, due to using all 3 subs. big game for us saturday, as we play mildenhall at our place in the f.a vase. we had paul macvey as ref, have seen him do better and worse. felt buckingham got the rub of the green with ref's calls, but paul macvey is honest, as were the lino's.

Yeah the right winger looked hurt, that was right in front of us, did well going back on then your number 9 got cropped as well, win is a win though. Good work.

a good fa vase win today against higher grade mildenhall,went to extra time, we played the last 80mins with 10 men after shaun colson got sent for a 2nd yellow, the ref was shocking, i went to chat with him before the game started and all he wanted to talk about was himself and that he was an offcialfor notts forest last weekend, he set himself out against us with 2 dodgey as f*** pens and goose's 2nd yellow. good job super penalty stopper beeny was between the sticks, made the all important 115th min save.
goals:
eason 7th min, brockett 110th min.

team: dave beeny, sean colson, josh crick, anthony thomas, ryan spencer, adam lacey, ryan asher-powell( scott beeny),jon gull, mark peacock(scott quinney) stuart eason( jordon brockett) dan drane.

we all have to deal with this kind of stuff in the game mick, but we are buzzing as a club. see you had a great win saturday, i ve no doubt that in a few seasons you ll be the number 1 team in whittlesey, whittlesey lads, run by true whittlesey fenlanders. great start for the boys and you mick, well done mate.

the lads have to train at least once a week, quite a few do 2 days.training days are tues and wed every week

we are away saturday to potton utd in the league, their manager is tom galvin, a decent lad, his old man goes to most of his games and can be heard shouting him gob of all game at the officals ect.

fa vase the follwing saturday, we are at home to felixstowe & walton a ridgeons prem side, win that and it st neots away.

won 5-3 away to potton, goals eason2, drane 2, brockett. were 3 nil down at halftime, pulled it back to 3-2 after 65 mins then anthony thomas got sent off, scored 3 more goals with 10 men. shocking ex football league ref, a crocked old fart who limped around the pitch and one of the the goonies running the line.

i know its crazy, no game this weekend due to northampton onc in county cup action and no game again this saturday against thrapston again due to cup. so everyone will have played 8 to our 4, also we have played potton utd twice in the 4 league games! will post on here bezza about mid week games as they come up mate.

we just cant buy a win at the moment, i ve got a decent side most weeks. our title chance seems to be gone now and players have chucked the towel in (mainly pboro lads). but im no quitter and the show must go on. game tues will be a tough one. 7.30pm ko at our place.
