Small minded racists
To the small minded racists who represented crowland reserves f.c. , thank you for ruining last nights friendly against netherton, you embarrassed yourselves, and let down the club that you play for. The excuse that our foreign had better get used to it as they will recieve it all season is disgusting, and is a throw back to the dark days

The comfortable 4-1 win for netherton was a nice run out. I only wish that as a club, we had the sense of mind as a team to walk off the pitch and finish the game there and then in support of our teAm mates.
I hope the friendly gave you what you want. And that you get exactly what you deserve in the season.

Here here, in a friendly why didn't you lay into these people? I hope someone from Crowland has the decency to come on here explain or at least apologise! Thought my lads were bad but we never stoop that low! Good luck for the season Matt!
What were the comments said Matt? This site is affiliated with "Kick It Out" (you'll see the logo in every last post within a thread) and firmly believes that there is no place for racism or discrimination of any kind in any walk of like, let alone in the game that we love.
Can I suggest that you put something in writing through Hairy to the local FA?

Will have a chat to him. Not gonna. Post the comments as by want to give the comments specific attention. But there were four or five of the opposition changing the same thing and we were all pretty disgusted by it. One of the lads did get upset by it, an did react, which he shouldn't have done, and we'll help him not go do that in future, and we subbed him off instantly. But very disappointing to say the least, no place for it in the game.

I played for 60 mins then went home and although Crowland were playing dirty the racist comments hadn't started at that point. I'm gutted to hear that this happened after I left as I wouldve loved to got involved....

That is shocking and as part of Crowland Town I am really embarrassed if that is true. I hope the management team get to the bottom of this and take appropriate action. We were training next to the reserves game and saw some a bit over the top tackles going in but had no idea that anything like this was going on.
We are trying to take the club in a good direction and build its reputation within the league. This obviously doesnt help us....
Carragher, your club as a whole wont be judged by this incident provided the individuals concerned are dealt with.
While we all take things as a team you cant always be in control of certain situations.
We are all behind Crowland regarding their ambitions.
Lets just hope your reserves resolve this matter and if it was all as one sided as it seems then apologies are made.
When you have a family member that commits a crime, your family shouldn't be tarred with the same brush, but by the same measure you'd still expect the individual to be punished appropriately.
I recall helping raph and pino out a while back and taking SSPIO Res away to Crowland in the league, we won easily but we had several racist 'incidents' from very small minded individuals playing and watching.... it was stupid and I made a point of telling their manager at the time, overall though they were ok, but you could see they had a core of maybe 4 or 5 lads that were - well, just a bit sad for want of a better word!

As a newcomer to this site, you may or may not be aware that I am Crowland Town First Team Manager.
When I was made aware of this post yesterday morning I was straight on to our Chairman and Reserves Team Manager to get to the bottom of this.
Let me make it clear that Crowland Town Football Club will not accept and do not want to be associated with this sort of behaviour.
We are currently investigating this internally in order to get to the bottom of exactly what happened and why.
Hopefully you understand that until this is resolved I can't really make any further comment.
