Hello there just a quick one I've been reading through and realised that surely peterborough sports could be challenging for promotion this year?

How would you support that claim? I have to back my own team, hence my prediction above.

Why don't you give us your predictions too?

Same to the rest of you . . . have you lost your bottle, those of you who play/manage in the PDFL?

G-Man, can you quote me from anywhere on this site, where I have said "FC Inter are as good as Kings Cliffe"?

    I don't think that all.

In fact, I think that we are better than you!

That wasn't a bite, that was me telling the truth. If you don't have confidence in your team and the belief that you can win the league, then tell me what the point is in bothering to turn up every week to play? !!!

There's being optimistic and having aspirations but then there's living in dream land!! Not that I'm saying your own aspirations aren't realistic.....

But you're basically saying that....take Blackpool for example shouldn't even bother turning up to games because they don't have ambitions of winning the league!?

im with raph, i wouldnt do it if i didnt have a chance to win it, blackpool is a totally different thing all together safehands, as is any pro football club, so your point is pants mate. their players, manager and staff earn big bucks to win nothing! at a guess £10k - £25k per week. gissa job blackpool.

Alright then, Bourne Town in your own division.......reading what Billy said at the beginning of the season I dont think they had aspirations of winning it due to the restraints on the club.

Who I used as an example isnt really relevant, the point remains the same.

Safe hands do you think teams happily play in leagues with the thought were gonna get smashed every week but we will give it a go?
I think Raphs point is more you set your team a target and you stick to it and 50% of teams in our level of football should be aspiring to win the league they play in.
Frankly I wouldn't want to play for a team who's ambition wasn't to win a league.
