Farcet 2 Werrington 1, we went 2 up early on, they pulled one back early 2nd half but we saw the game out well...

Whittlesey Bluestar drew 1 all. out lack of taking chances is showing and although we were poor we created golden chances that once again we never took! Boots may have to come back out!

to be honest thought 1 1 was a fair result as castor also had pretty much the same amount of chances second half.

You did create alot of chances to be fair and if you would of scored more I could not of argued but the clearest cut chances fell our way and we didn't take um! Dissapointed we took 20 people to your pub and not even a Jaffa cake was opened?

As normally a player i dont really know everything that goes on at the club(i do try to help out because i know how hard it is to run a club) but i think the food issue goes back to a few season ago when teams(football and cricket)used to not show after games and the pub just had enough of putting food out and it got wasted.i hope this changes as we are through this site and the people that use it getting that spirit back.

Thumbs up Castor 1-1 blue star

In fairness it probably was fair result, but either team could have nicked it. Blue star looked a bit lethargic & never got going considering the players they had!
I though castor kept the ball moving well & maybe played more football in 1st half. 2nd Half was pretty even maybe a goal or 2 for each team could have been scored with blue star attacking a lot in castors box with no end product.

It opens the league up a bit & with a long season ahead it will definitely be exciting stuff!

Sorry boot boy but that one won't wash - I confirmed with your secretary tha (a) we would be coming back to your gaff after the game and (b) that your local puts grub on - I make a point of always asking when I confirm the fixture - not a big issue cos we would come back anyway, but to be honest not the most welcoming pub we have ever been to - no worries when you come to Whittlesey you will see how hospitality should be provided.

Best of luck for the rest of the season

like i said i dont know everything that goes on at the club. at no point was i referring to blue star when i said teams dont come back,i did say it goes back to previous season of past when teams did not show.i have played on and off the last 3 season for castor and ive never known us to have food at the pub.we have some good eaters at the club so im sure they will look forward to return trip to yours.

also good luck to you guys too have a good season!!
