    Default 31/3/07 Predictions!

    Macca Sports
Its gone a bit quiet on here recently boys, we need some more banter ha ha. was the funniest thing in the world seein Ginger Pubes do circuits on tuesday, made it worth paying the £2! I'm sure that'll get a comeback!! Firstly heres the predictions for this weekend:

Chatteris Fen Tigers 2 v 2 Farcet United (tough one, i'll go with a draw)

    Hereward Athletic 1 v 4 Manea United

    Sawtry 2 v 2 Guyhirn (wishful thinking!)

    Stilton United 3 v 1 Doddington United

Warboys Town FC v Coates Athletic (away win)

    Secondly for the Coates boys:

Do you predict Kev will pass the ball to a Coates shirt in his last game before he leaves to join the navy?

And if so how many time?

    I'm goin with 0-10 times!

    Gunna miss ya buddy!

    Thirdly:

    Super Sunday anyone???

I have to agree that Kev will be missed by everyone at the club, but its about time he did something with his life!!!

It has been quiet on here of late, with what could prove to be a very interesting final few games (or about 10 for us) i am surprised that a few more predictions and some more banter is not appearing on here!!

    My predictions:

Chatteris Fen Tigers 1 v 3 Farcet United
Tough place to come and get a positive result but Farcet had a good result last weekend against Doddington and i think they'll win here too!

    Hereward Athletic 1 v 6 Manea United
Manea have got even more games than us to play, in addition to the PFA Challenge Final and could still march on to a late promotion push. They should win here with little problems.

    Sawtry 2 v 1 Guyhirn
This is the BIG game of the weekend. Top v Second. Sawtry demolished Stilton at the weekend and with us to play twice and Guyhirn thier remaining fixtures they need to win them all to go up..... Guyhirn also need to keep winning to add to our pressure (not that there isnt enough). I'm struggling here but i am going to go for a Home win!

    Stilton United 3 v 1 Doddington United
Another important game for both teams, i think promotion is now out of reach for both teams but they will both be looking to win, Stilton to avenge the 4-0 loss last week and Doddington to get some momentum back for the Cup final in April!! I'm going home win.

Warboys Town FC v Coates Athletic
Warboys are a much better team now and this will be a very tough game....Warboys are on a good run and will be confident following the draw with Guyhirn that they can take the points and it will be upto us to stop them.......We have got to keep winning as we are so far behind and if we lose one or two it will be hard for us to pick ourselves up!
I have to go for us to win but the odd goal will settle this one i am sure!

hello boys! this will be my last predictions for a while....

Chatteris Fen Tigers 1 v 3 Farcet United (fancy farcet boys to win this although tigers do well at home)

    Hereward Athletic 1 v 4 Manea United

Sawtry 2 v 2 Guyhirn (wishful thinking from me also, this will be a good result for just the coates lads)

Stilton United 2 v 1 Doddington United (stilton will bounce back after heavy defeat to sawtry)

Warboys Town FC v Coates Athletic (away win)

i wanna leave with a good win, or rather just a win! come on boys

i predict i will pass the ball in warm up and that will be it

Chatt 3 v 1 Farcet Only because this is one of the toughest places to go and get a result.

    Hereward 2 v 3 Manea

Sawtry 3 v 1 Guyhirn The form team to continue their winning ways and I think a Guyhirn win would be a better result for us.

Stilton 2 v 0 Doddington Both teams lost their way a bit.

Warboys v Coates I wouldn't dare predict this one. Obviously we have to win with Sawtry and Manea to play twice.

Havn't heard anything from the Sawtry boys for a while. They seem to be performing at full tilt but they do have to win all of their remaining games I think.

    Here's an early doors scenario/prediction.

Guyhirn lose their last 3 games. 59pts
Sawtry win their last 3. 61pts
Stilton win their last 4. 58pts
We have to win the remaining 7 to get 63pts and that means beating Manea twice, Warboys and Doddington and I would never take the others for granted. So lose 4 of the last 9 and we could very easily finish 4th as predicted. Lots of ifs buts and maybes, just to show that it's far from over, if anyone thought it was.

I'll trade a cup final for promotion if anyone can arrange it.

anyway on a serious note big dave! important match saturday, especially for myself!it being my last for a while! warboys playing really well! we need to keep winning to maintain our promotion push and confidence going into the final i guess, with manea and sawtry to play twice still its important we keep winning matches and putting points on the board! its nice to no everything is in our hands, we win our matches we go up simple, got to try and concentrate on us! although first thing we all do is check others results !
