Default JB a Legend in his own mind

    Macca Sports
I just thought JB's old friends (all those at Lord Westwood and Netherton) should know about his absolute nightmare on Sunday morning against Parkside. He had possibily the worst game I have ever seen a full back have. Fair enough he wasn't the only one but the others aren't legends just mere mortals. JB couldn't mark, pass, tackle, intercept or head. To cap an absolute horror he made an awful mess of an header back to his own keeper, it so so weak it fell about 15 yards short and the opposing forward almost missed his gift through laughing. We lost 5 - 0 and it would not be honest to blame JB for all the goals, just most of them. He will tell you all about his extremely painful and inhibiting groin strain that he has heroicly carried for most of the season. I have seen experienced players carry injuries and use their ability to read the game to get them by but last Sunday JB would have struggled to read the Beano.

cheers mick! i think i've finally carried my injuries too far and can no longer carry on. i only played cos we had bare 11 and this is the gratitude i get got to have op on my groin so i hope that makes you feel bad for mocking my heroics

i think you're getting a bit confused over this legend thing, it says that on here due to the number of posts i've made. i didn't put it there(although i probably would have )

on the bright side though it enables me to do my bit in supporting my first love posh to try and get an all important play-off place!

All tongue in cheek JB, as I told you Sunday it's very important for the more mature players to get their injuries properly seen too, I have seen too many people mess themselves up through not taking medical advice. All the best JB hope it all goes well and you are back playing, you have still a few years left, well maybe at least one season more before you're put out to pasture.
