Yep. Some good players there that won't, in my opinion, fancy playing for reduced terms.

suppose it depends on what the reduced terms are etc... and what players the club would want to let leave and keep. But im pretty sure Stamford will be on red hot alert as will Blackstones and Spalding as all 3 are struggling.

Tell all the tims ye no Rangers are gonna get 4 in a row!!! Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy lalalalalala

I can see Josh Moreman maybe now giving Stamford a go and there could be a return to Blackstones for a few, however they seem quite settled with what they've bought in this season and must be exceeding their expectations.

It'd be a shame for them to split up as a group as i can see them getting a top 5 finish if they stay together, which is no mean feat at the best of times, let alone in a debut season.

Thanks, Tommy, for all you have achieved in local football.

    You will be sorely missed

Re PNS.. I look with extreme interest, and hope, that they can continue their development, albeit with, I assume, a lesser budget, and that their players will show some common sense, and go leave for "more money elsewhere".

Well,I suppose at my age, I am allowed to dream!!

Thanks Nick - but I don't intend disappearing off into the sunset just yet! As you will know from Budget, call centres take some creating and managing and it would not be right for our new multi-million pound investors that I was not completely focussed. There are other secondary reasons which in themself would not be enough to have moved on, but they were distractions and irritations I could do without - such as the lease.

Have had 4 clubs at UCL level and above call me this week who are interested in discussing what I might bring to their clubs (!!!!!) which has been flattering, but I will not be doing anything in 2011 and may even lower my sights when I do come back - watch this space!!!

It was appreciated Al - 2 other UCL clubs have also discussed involvement that did not include cash injections and wasn't discussed with the higher league club either.

Come the end of 2011 I am looking forward to considering the next move seriously and even potentially looking at an ambitious Peterborough League club.

I think Tunge may find it a challenge as only be able to do one 7-day approach a month (he is struggling with the concept already I hear!) and there was already one in from Deeping before I left.

Having spoken to Chris over the past few days, I don't think there will be a mass exodus initially and I am sure that PNS will quickly move on and be fine.
