Whittlesey begin pre season training this Saturday (23rd June ) at 1pm at the Manor.

The club are delighted to welcome back Lee Minettt as 1st team manager, and along with Lee we have Ben Donnelly, our young Reserve team Manager, who did so well last year. Both Lee and Ben will be delighted to welcome all existing and new players this Saturday and happy to discuss their playing plans for the coming season.

Our new chairman, Wayne Gale, will also be on hand to discuss the off- pitch club plans for the coming season - The club also has a new main sponsor(details to follow) and additional sponsors already in place.

Looking forward to a season full of promise, see you Saturday......

Excellent turn out for the first training session of the new season - Think Lee's new signings are going to make a few sit up and take notice. He's added strength all over the park - should also benefit Ben and the youngsters in the Ressies.

Most interesting of all though was to hear what a couple of the new lads were saying about signing on fees, bonus payments etc- that seem to be on offer in local football - surely not ! And there was me thinking it was all down to charisma and ambition How nieve of me!

To have Lee back at the club is a real bonus. With the nucleus of players we have here currently coupled with the new signings should make the forthcoming season an exciting one.

Off the pitch we are moving in such a positive direction also, with Wayne doing so well.
