Really well done to Moulton who finally got their hands on a trophy this evening with a 2-0 win. After a poor and goalless first half on a bumpy pitch in windy conditions, a much better 2nd period saw both goals scored by Joshua Ford who was a thorn in the side of the Ramsey defence throughout the half, whilst at the other end Jamie Darlow did not get a sniff out of the Moulton back line.
Game turned when at 1-0 Ramsey managed to hit the bar 3 times in a minute. They seemed to have a bit of a shout for a penalty a bit later but overall Moulton's experience saw them through - Skeggy sensibly not running 50 yards to celebrate the goals for example!
Well done to my cousin in goal for Moulton - Lee "Evil" Kenealy. Also plays in goal for the Royal Navy and if were not for his job taking him out of the country on a regular basis, he'd be semi-pro in the UK as a minimum.
Very under-rated.
