    You can play football anywhere in the city, you just need a ball and some mates haha.

    Powerleague is at Stanground school, RWT (7 a-side on astro) at the embankment near the running track and they are most evenings, just go down and speak to teams.
    Saturday teams play all over as do Sunday sides, have a look at these websites for both leagues, if you see a team you think you wanna play for then just post a message on here and we'll point you in the right direction.

    Oh and it might help if you gave info on yourself, name, age, where you play and why a team might wanna sign you etc?

    I don't know what your standard is but seeing as your 16 you qualify for the youth league (Peterborough & District Youth Football league) which has teams all the way up to U18 level.

    If you ring Hazel Dudley (Secretary for the league) on 01733 768374 or email her via pdyfl.secretary@ntlworld.com and ask if your name & details can be circulated to clubs you're eligible to play for. Or see if she knows of any clubs seeking players.

    If you want to play in the mens leagues, as Back of the Net says, there are a number of clubs in this area that play Saturday afternoons, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon. It may help anyone looking on here if you advise the following;

    where you live i.e. Stanground, Hampton, Ortons etc
    what position you play
    you've come from abroad so what standard did you play at abroad i.e. was it just local leagues or were you involved in a higher standard
    your contact details such as telephone numbers, email address etc. so that anyone who may be interested can ring you

    Also, have a look at some of the threads on here as some clubs are asking for players. Get in touch with them. Have a think though as you obviously can't drive yet so unless you have a parent who's happy to take you to training/matches don't go saying you'll turn up if someone invites you if you can't get there. That just annoys people!

    Hope this helps as you seem keen to play and everyone needs keen people.

    I play as striker. I have played always for fun, not in any league. I live in Eastfield and I'm interested in playing 5vs5/6vs6/7vs7 football only in region Eastfield/Centre/Woodston.

    Then walk down to near the running track (near the indoor swimming pool) and you'll find 7 a side games going on most evenings from 6.30pm/7pm - 10pm.
    Just go down and take a look at the games, speak to a few player and teams and just ask if they need players?

    Failing that I think Rob Windle who runs that league posts messages on here in a section called RWT, message him?
