    It saddens me to have to say that a good friend and our fixture secratary has sadly passed away this morning , after a heart attact on xmas day morning he has passed away this morning . Ive know rod for many years after moving to EYE many years ago and seeing him around football as a referee and associated with EYE FC , RIP MATE.

    very sad news indeed Mark. Never nice to lose someone but for it to happen at a time which is so important to families is very sad. Have known rod for years and was always willing to help out. RIP Rod you will be missed
