Just read the ET report on Saturday and gotta disagree with you Gino on your comments of the game. Thought that you were the better side but no way could you have scored 6/7, infact I do not remember our "stand in" keeper having to make a save! Both your goals came from poor keeper clearances whilst we hit the bar, had one cleared off the line and missed a pen! Sending offs were correct although Dwayne should have gone earlier for his actions and then I would have been ok

Will agree that you are a good side and with that forward line you will be very hard to beat as they are as good as they get and that includes UCL football so I make you favourites for the title as Pinchbeck have much harder fixtures. We will look to bounce back starting this week and we still have pinchbeck twice so not all over for us but a lot harder and we need to be more professional in our approach, committment and obtianing of players etc...

Good to catch up with old friends and always good to have differing opinions!

Well as you said Foggy its all about opinions, if I give you your few chances and we took ours its 10-3. your keeper made a great save with his legs from dwayne and a great block from jamie. for 20/25 minutes in the second half it was all us, we got the chance to kill the game off and never took it. It was a massive game for both teams and glad we took the points as I rate PSL and the great job done by Chris and his team...

what comes to mind for me is the old IF, BUTS and MAYBES... the bottom line is, the best team on the day won and that is all i care about, but it could well have been a different outcome, but it was no thanks to the psl shambles i witnessed before and during the game from a club trying to build a decent future. at 1.20pm gedge and foggy were moaning about lack of training equipement and flat footballs, at 1.30pm only 4 psl players were doing the warm up (kicking a ball to each other), i noticed psl players turning up around 1.30pm and strolling towards their dressing room. dessent is a pet hate of mine (which is why we didnt sign brett bellamy). what kev did cost psl any real chance of a foot hold in the game, i had a chat with kev after the game and told him what i thought, he is a nice young lad and a decent local prospect, but really needs a kick up the butt, kev also told me that he has had a number of cards this season to which he sounded proud of, i get on well with bart, but he really shouldnt have to deal with this kind of attitude from players, maybe it was a one off? i dont know? but i do know that you can only manage one team over a weekend. i hope no one at psl takes offence from my comments and i wish them every success in what they are trying to achive.

Al & Gino you will hear no if, buts & maybes from me or any others (i hope) as the best team won as I previously stated but did not see all your chances that equal 10 and Gino the save with the legs was me clearing off the line from Dwayne. We were dominant for 15 minutes at the start of the 2nd half until Kev got sent off but no complaints again

Agree totally with you Al on Kev as he is a top player but is currently letting himself down at present but I have tried to talk to him as have others but maybe he will just learn with age and experience as it is his first time at this level.

We are looking to build for next season and certain things need to be put right but I know Chris & Malc are trying to do this but players attitudes need to change if we are to be serious for the remainder of this year and this wish to be hear next year!

Al & G your views and opinions are as always respected and listened to as you are top men both on and off the field. Even if they are hard hitting to us all

P.S Gino - At least Bolton cheered me up !

No probs with Gino having a somewhat one-eyed view of the game. Much rather someone came out and was a bit bullish in paper and on here rather than 1 of those boring love-in's.

The report is on our website in which I agreed that Eye seem much better equipped than PSL for a title challenge. When I got out of the car Saturday "has anyone got any goalkeeper gloves" was probably not the first thing I wanted to hear! Nothing much happened in the first half. Ryan scored with a cross that went in off Foggy and Matt Barber hit the bar for us shortly after. We were dominating the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half with the wind until giving away a sloppy 2nd and Eye dominated from that point onwards, particularly after Kevin was sent off and we went 3 at the back. Still had a lifeline with penalty which was missed on 80 mins and we were fortunate in the last 10 minutes not to conceded again

PS: Sorry Tom - wasn't a dirty game and the players sent off were the only ones to get cards. No complaints about 3 red cards and only opinion I would offer was that Dwayne probably should have walked for the first incident on 85 minutes that led to the 2nd 2 minutes later - made no difference to result and I personally have no issue with the way the game was reffed.
