Couldn't be easier Darren. All you need is a proposer and a seconder from your club, there are several vacant places at the moment. We need a nominee who will be prepared to take on a particular responsibility and do something. It won't be too onerous, perhaps just sitting on the Discipline or Development sub committee for starters. I've made several requests on here in the past asking people at the sharp end to join.
At the October 2011 Board meeting it was suggested by Board members from Ryhall and Netherton that Clubs be invited to send observers to such meetings. This was unanimously agreed. Invitations were immediately emailed to all club sec's. So far only Blue Star, Baston & Riverside have agreed to attend. Bit disappointing really.
Yes minutes are produced and sent within a day or two of each Board meeting to club sec's and are also available on the PDDFL web site..
One of the many good reasons for me coming on here was a small attempt to reach players, managers other club officials and broadcast information as widely as poss. to the people who matter and help determine the future of the PDFL.
Although there are only a small number of actual contributors to PST there are a significant number of readers. If required I could arrange for the minutes to be published on PST, with Ross's approval. Might bore the pants off a few though.
Look forward to receiving your nomination and thank you.

Bit of a concern from such a well run club as yours purports to be Foggy, is that you haven't been made aware of these meetings and the minutes produced- suggest you have a word with your secretary, who already recieves these minutes, easy enough to make a copy.......
Norman, as per my private message the other day, I'd love to help out wherever I can. Drop me a line, I'll create a minutes section on the homepage where you can attach the minutes to
Mick, we purport nothing as you put it and we are very much a club in transition as our temporary moving to Campbell Drive surely proves but leave it with me and I will pick this up with Mr Cooper/Mr Day and see what I can do about getting proposed. (Mr C ring me please)
Norman, will be happy to help and get involved and apologies for my ignorance on this!
Ross, this would help as not all players are interested but I am sure some would read them if they were placed on here! Great idea 4 a Gooner!![]()

Ha ha was that a little nibble Foggy? - must be your age! If you are serious about joining the committee and need someone to second any proposal ( dont know if a seconder is required, but the offers there) I, oops sorry, WBS F.C. would be happy to do so if required.
After all it would be nice to have someone else to argue with !!! (and before you bite again -only joking FFS!)
and the point I was trying to make was there are only so many available posts on the committee, so the majority of the players will only ever get to know whats going on by their clubs informing them- hence the need for the secretaries of clubs to ensure the players are briefed on the minutes etc -
Having said that- and seeing the apathy some club secretaires demonstrate at the AGM, there is probably little hope, that players from the clubs those particular secretaries represent, will ever get briefed.![]()

Presumably as you have now moved locations that, as suspected, the facilities did not meet the requirements of the PDFL Prem. Wonder how that happened.
Maybe you have the development commitee covered. Best go for the disciplinary commitee.
Maybe a little one Mick and thank you for the offer, will take you up on it if needed but hoping it will not be.
I am serious and would be happy to be on the committee in whatever capacity they desire just looking to make a difference and hopefully my playing experience at this level and above stands me in good stead to do so.
I have not had chance to speak to Mr Cooper about it as chairman of our club but I will do so and will then look at the proposals and what the next steps are?
Norman, when do these need to be in by, the next meeting?
CAFC - Pot, kettle, Black???![]()

Pretty sure we still play at the same place that passed the initial inspection.
So pot, kettle, black. Is........ er well piffle I guess.
Wonder no more oh yee of a suspicious nature!
Ground inspected twice at PSL and the improvements required were carried out before the deadline date last year and inspected. 2nd inspection carried out by a separate person to ensure nothing was missed. Passed OK(just, like several others).
Reason for moving now is because the parent social club recently made physical building alterations to the premises which impinged on the football facilities immediately taking them below The FA standard necessary. The club was immediately made aware of this and informed that if they did not meet The FA grading requirement by 31st March 2012, they would be relegated to Div One next season
The club then took the sensible decision to move to a location that I inspected last Tuesday( Campbell Drive, and if he reads this thanks to the "Enterprise" employee who turned out in the pouring rain to let me in) and which passes with flying colours .Except for floodlights, would pass the next highest FA Grade also.
There is no conspiracy theory here, no special treatment, nowt other than straight forward inspections and everyone trying to do their best for each and every team in our league. From my personal experience all the club officials I have dealt with at PSL have been open, truthful and honest. Those that know Colin and Roger will surely vouch for them and would expect nothing less. Your light hearted sarcasm does you little credit mate, perhaps we all ought to pack it in and sod off to pastures new. Very tiresome. If you have an issue why not just ask a question in an ordinary way? I'll always try to answer reasonably quickly and in a straight forward manner. We've had nearly two years of aggro from The FA on facilities we surely don't need to persist in beating ourselves up? Or better still come on the committee and get everything first hand.

Norman, a very full and concise response as usual.
Just going on the thread from Mr Cooper which stated that one of the changing rooms was 10m2 so presumably the alterations made, reduced the size of the changing room. What an error.
Scarcasm is probably the only thing that I have in my locker. I have absolutely no interest in joining any of the league commitees as I do not have the patience that you have for dealing with its members. In fact the whole football thing is becoming extremely tiresome, from mini soccer to mens, Saturdays and Sundays, I have to say, in my opinion, tiresome, frustrating, embarrasing, loathesome but with the occasional high point when all of a sudden everything else just becomes insignificant.
CAFC.Couldn't have put it better myself, forgive the late night rant, made when back late from another football meeting, not a good time to put pen to paper, especially if frustration has taken over.
Incidentally the only other words I would include with yours; just now and then it's a damn good laugh and you do get to meet some great people. Probably makes it all worthwhile.

Norman, true, true. We should never confuse whingeing for passion.
I am done for now on this subject, honest. I do believe that I am required to respond on another thread which looks like a far more interesting thread to throw some scarcasm at.
