Default F.A. - ( does this refer to their support of Grass roots?)

Seen so much garbage written today re England - here's food for thought - Capello has a better record as the England manager than Sir Alf , Redknapp is essentially a wheeler and dealer, his record in that wheeling and dealing doesnt bear scrutiny, he is however apparently a great communicator....... yea Geezer !!!!

As far as I am concerned, and in my opinion, the failing now, and has been for, at least the last 40 years, with the completely disfunctional F.A. - so many committees, sub committees, review boards, seminars ,workshops etc - yet we still don't have anything like a recognised national structure in place, their disciplinary, youth and finance policies are in complete chaos - and if you dont believe me get booked, watch an under 9 game or try and ask for funding - but God help you if you forget to Respect the Referee!

but dont worry there is apparently an endless supply of blazers, ties and expensive champagne, and unfortunately a ready supply of numpties willing to stick their snouts into the trough

hark ! I hear a hurumph, hurumph coming from some corner of Wembley, another glass of champers anyone !!!!!

The very fact they said they wouldnt discuss if they paid Capello to leave, or as a result of him leaving, speaks volumes!
He's a very very good manager and has ended his contract with a bunch of egos that do nothing but talk in riddles and meet in secret to protect their own jobs and wealth, it's no surprise then that the national team, right down to grass roots youth level suffers as a result.

I know it's easy to knock things from the outside and all we hear is for people to join and make a difference etc etc, but until it changes at the top then working at grass roots/amatuer level with all the good will in the world, will always be like pushing water up a hill blidfolded, using a wooden spoon!
