Making a rare appearance on a sunday afternoon I can only say what a discrace. The above person called his side off with 25 mins to go because 1 of his players was sent off for threatening ref. What do u expect wen ur players an arse. This is the reason why I don't play sunday and why we have no refs. Throw the book at the player that was sent off for his reaction and the manager Shane Jenkin.
Everyone gets things wrong and the ref but the ref in this case did not! If a ref at ant point feels threatened he is quite within his right to send a player off.
There is no excuse for walking off a pitc and no player from Real Whittlesey wanted this to happen but all the begging and pleading with the atomist team they did not want to come back on.
Think thats the last time i will play sunday afternoon football. No proffesionism and no support from the clubs its players towards the ref and its league. If i was the ref i would refuse to ref any game involving this team again!!!!!!!!

Not the refs or the leagues fault... regardless of standard it's the players/teams that make the league...
Shame it's got to this on a Sunday PM but posts like that won't help will it??? if you dont want to play again in that league then do so without having a pop whilst you leave surely???
BOTN- this is a forum and i voiced my opinio, Never blamed the league or the ref(i totally back todays ref Paul Clarke). Unfortunaltly the players do make the league and regardless of how bad things are i cant remember a saturday side walking off. Todays opponents had no repspect for us the fact we paid for the facilties and on mothers day sunday all had other places to be.The game was called off so what a complete waste of time and resources, we will get the win but so what.
mt opinion may not help the leagu but i couldnt give a **** these manager was out of order and he is the former league secetary.If thats his attitude why bother :flip:
If enough people make a point the league will change hopefully..
Surely rather have fewer teams than teams such as these anyway.

Plenty of Saturday sides (including right up to prof level) have walked off through dissagrements with officials, dont make it right though!!

Having been another player inovlved in todays game i am in total agreement with NO9, at first i was annoyed with both the ref and the other team but after carefully reflecting on todays events the ref was well with in his rights to call the game off. I feel for the other lads on the opposing team who all wanted to stay and play but Mr Jenkins was adamant the team would play no further part in the game. This to me is an utter joke and he even suggested pulling the team out of the league which does us no favours what so ever being as we have taken 6 points and our closest rivals Ak 11 lost to them. We have already lost 6 points with stamford pulling out through the season.
I must agree that something must be done but for all concerened i hope that the player involved gets a fine and ban as we all loose our rag sometimes, due to the fact the offence for the original red was never a red( if a player cant question a refs decision then we are all F****D:flipand hopefully have the game replayed. Just so everyone is aware we were 2-0 up with 25 mins left to play and in total control and looking to score more goals!!!

I can understand your frustration No9.Ref should have abandoned game as soon as he was threatened (but probably didn't expect this situation to go this far),and now let the appropriate county and league do all the dirty work in charging the alleged guilty parties. Trouble is now with the whole side walking off and refusing to finish the fixture which they may think was big and funny at the time but hopefully the smiles will be wiped off their face with the penalties administered if found guilty Also what the players need to remember if the club folds and fails to pay any outstanding monies owed to leagues and counties they are responsible to pay their share if not they can have their registrations withheld.I hope Mr Jenkins explained this to them before they made such a rash choice.I somehow doubt it.

i've heard the sunday pm league wont even exist next season.
the league is under subscribed so can understand that, surely the most committed will play sunday am enhancing that league

What happened yesterday was very regrettable for the league and ref. I also referee on a sunday afternoon and if reports are correct i fully back paul in his actions. Yesterday i was linesman for the semi-final Palazzo cup between Cherry Tree v Whittering (5-2) in a game both sides played hard and fair and not abad word too myself Ron or ozzy . Well done lads
Reports are correct Ref was quite within his right to send off the player.
Some plaers should keep there mouth shut
Amen to that No.9, especially on the pitch during a game.In my opinion some of the teams wouldn't enhance Sunday Mornings, not with thier disciplinary records.

have to agree mick. would be nice to see a few of the teams get their commuppence in a proper league against proper teams though, but i doubt that they would be welcome.
