I dont think it matters what league any of them play in, there needs to be more disipline from managers. To many & to often are you having managers on the sidelines shouting abuse across the pitch. Yesterday i had one shouting acrross the pitch for them to kick me everytime i got the ball!!!!! What kind of twat is he?
There should be bigger fines & longer bans & also club fines for these incidents so in general the club suffers & then they will have to become responsible of controlling there players yes/no ???????
Macca, Totally agree we should play cause we enjoy it. We all have work on Monday so the fact some tw@ as you put it was shouting for you to get kicked is a joke. Maybe you should of gone over there and Kicked the tw@
On another note played again today as the lads were short and totally different side to the spectrum. AK11 have nothing but bad press but we played them today and they were sound. The game played in right manor and although we lost was fine spectical for the sunday pm league.Finished season off. so we can start going out on a saturday and getting steaming again. Not that we stayed in anyway

Maybe a club could be deducted points or thrown out of cups for failing to control there players & if its a half descent team then that could cost them dearly!
I think its the only way forward to re intruduce a gentalmans game like it is in the rugby? you never see them f-ing off at referees at every oppertunity.
If you would of listened to the convo between the referee and the player i think you'll find he sent him off before he threatened him. allright he shouldnt have done it but the ref shouldnt of had an argument with the player before sending him off after the player was only expressing his point of view(that it should of been a foul on him).
wasnt at the game and dont know alot about it, but to come on here and say that he didnt threaten him untill after he was sent off, come on mate lets be honest threatning an official should never happen. totally undefendable i take it you play for the side involved and could explian how a foul against him involved him getting a sending off that i carnt work out.
Jimbo1 the player involved is a good mate from way back who was one of the 1st people who made me feel very welcome in Peterborough when i moved here 9 years ago. I will be honest and say he has played football for many a year and has never been thetype to act like that. Buton the incident i was right next to both the ref and the player when it all started and when it all kicked off. I disagree with you on the foul it was 2 players going for a header and won player took and knock in the face(your player) and like most people was a bit angry. He challanged the ref to this as the ref came past him and when the ref told him to get on with it it was not a foul the player walked away and said ********. The ref them sent the player off which i totally and utterly agree with you was uncalled for as player did nothing wrong and did not swear directly at the ref just frustration and disagreed with the decision. But the ref seen it differently.
However no matter what the decision the player should never never threaten a ref and some off the stuff said was a lil rash.
Although due respect to the ref he took it all on the chin the player walked off and all was about to continue when Mr Jenlkins decided to pull the whole team of. This is when the Ref called the game off and phoned the league.
At the end off the day we all hate refs at some point, but we play this game because we love it and without them there would be no game to play. So if anyone thinks they can do a better job(which i do not envy) then put yer money were yer mouth is and give theese guys a break!!!!![]()
if you're swearing in disagreement at a decision by the ref then you're indirectly swearing at the ref. by the sounds of things it was harsh to be sent off but the ref followed letter of the law. i and i'm sure most on here know the ref and the first thing he tells both sides whether it be the management or players that any swearing at him and you'll be off. he ALWAYS says that to a representative of both teams before the games he refs so he should have known better really shouldn't he.
Next year you won't be able to swear FULL STOP on the field of play; in line with new FA by-laws. If you can get a bookmaker to take the bet, it would be worth sticking half a ton on there being the most reds in the Football League next season!
how many games will be abandoned?
ok so u took a little time to write that but number 1, i never said i thought it was a foul its what the player thought number 2, the ref did not just send him off that easy they started words with eachother which a ref shouldnt do, should just say calm down or ill send you off, and then the player said dont be a big man and then the ref said you wanna see a big man and then pulled out the red card number 3, the ref didnt call the game off "MR Jenkins" did.
you should not argue with the ref simple as.not enough respesct shown these days if ya cant take what he says dont play.got told by my dad who played for years that even if the reff was wrong he is still right.its why we have a lack of them simple as.
Jimbo 1 dont really understand what your point is, everything you said is pretty much what i said but in your own direct opinion. Well apart from who called the game off. If i remember correctly Mr Jenkins walked off the pitch with most of your team and the ref then followed this up buy calling the game off. I also remeber that about half your lads if not more tried to talk your manager into playing the game but buy then the game had been called off buy the REF!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
JB yes we do all no the ref in question very well and agree he does say that but i have been involved in certain games with him on quite a few occasions were he has let alot more go. Still think he could have been more diplomatic but not gonna slate the guy as still think he a decent ref, I guess it just depends on his mood!!!![]()
What is the name of the ref who is affiliated to the Whittlesey Sunday Afternoon team?
I know Paul and he is a good ref, as for having an argument with a player, not best advised but on the other hand how many times do people slag the ref off for not conversing over a decision?
Calling the game is the referee's decision not the managers end of and if threaterned, well lets just see what happens to the player, because I for one am looking forward to seeing what happens here.
Candygram for Mungo!
isn't any swearing on council pitches a criminal offence nowadays? i'm sure that happenned a few years back.
Nobody answered my question about the ref affiliated to Whittlesey's Sun PM team? Just out of curiosity.
Raph the ref was Paul Clarke!!!
